Extra revenue for physio clinics from patient referrals

Most of what a physio clinic earns is tied to the appointment diary, and the diary only has so many hours in it. A referral partnership with TriageFit adds a stream that sits outside it. Where your professional rules allow it, the clinic can earn 5% of every payment made by the patients it refers into coaching, for as long as each of them stays a member, which is a way to increase physio clinic revenue without adding a treatment slot.

What the clinic earns

The commission is 5% of what each referred patient actually pays, worked out after the 10% partner discount they get through your link. Members pay either every four weeks or once a year.

So 10 patients on the four-weekly plan who stay a full year come to €292.50 for the clinic. It builds one patient at a time, and each patient's share keeps running for as long as that patient keeps paying, with no end date on the clinic's side.

Where your professional rules come in

Whether a clinic may take a commission for a referral depends on its profession and its regulator, and the rules differ from one to the next. TriageFit does not assess them and gives no advice on them, so the decision is the clinic's own. The switch is off when you register and stays off until you turn it on in your clinic settings, and until then the clinic earns nothing.

Turning it on confirms three things: that the commission is permitted for your clinic, that you will tell patients about it wherever your rules require, and that you will switch it off if either stops being true. We record that confirmation with the time and the version of the clinic partner terms you accepted. The same terms say the commission must never influence clinical judgement, and that the clinic must never make the service a condition of care or offer the link in place of treatment a patient needs.

What stays the same for the patient

The patient pays exactly the same with the switch on or off. The commission comes out of TriageFit's own revenue, the 10% discount applies either way, and the patient's membership, coaching and sharing choice are untouched by it. What they get is a coached programme built around the injury you treated, a weekly check-in a real coach reads and an AI coach they can ask at any hour, which how the partnership works describes in full.

No fee, no stock, no extra work

The partnership costs the clinic nothing. There is no registration fee, nothing to buy or keep on a shelf, and your clinicians' seats come with it. The work on your side is handing a patient the one-pager or the link when they are ready to keep training after discharge, and the coaching and the billing are ours from then on. How commission is paid

Clinics are paid the way our affiliates are. Each amount is held for 30 days after the patient's invoice is paid, to cover refunds and chargebacks, and a payment that is refunded or charged back reverses the commission it earned. Payouts run monthly through Stripe Connect once the balance reaches €20, so the clinic completes Stripe's onboarding before its first payout. Tax on what the clinic earns is the clinic's own affair.

Which patients count

Commission is earned on patients who joined through the clinic's own partner link and whom nobody else was already credited with. A patient who reached us through an affiliate's link or another member's referral earns the clinic nothing, and nor do the clinic's own people, meaning its admins, the clinicians in its seats and the person it nominates to be paid.

The link is for the clinic's own patients and the people in its care. The terms rule out advertising it to the public, selling it, listing it on a coupon site or offering it to people the clinic is not caring for. If an affiliate introduced your clinic to us, they earn their own commission on the same payments, separately, and neither amount comes out of the other.

Switching it off, or ending the partnership

Turning the commission off stops it from the next payment, and what was already earned stands. If the partnership ends, by email from either side, no further commission is earned and anything already earned is still paid. Every patient you referred keeps their membership and their history.

If you leave it off

A clinic that never switches it on still gets a patient who is coached between appointments, a discount to offer and a clinician view of each patient who shares their progress. Physio patient retention looks at what that view is good for.
