What an Unmind agreement covers, and how coaching seats are priced

Unmind's pricing is not published, and the route to a price is booking a call with its team. Its help centre, written for the staff who use Unmind rather than for buyers, says more: it shows which parts of an agreement change from one employer to the next, and so what that call will settle.

What an employer's agreement settles

Therapy & Coaching is open to staff whose employer includes it in its benefits package, so whether it is in at all is the company's decision. Where it is, each person has a set number of sessions a year. How many is up to the agreement: the employer agrees the number, and it varies from one organisation to another. The usual pace is no more than one session a week, though a person can agree with their practitioner to meet less often. Under the same rules, late cancellations made with under 24 hours' notice count towards the allowance, as do missed sessions.

More sessions than the allowance can be requested where there is a clear clinical need, with the person's difficulties affecting them at work. In that case the practitioner asks Unmind, which passes the request to the employer without the person's name, and any extra sessions are granted at the employer's discretion. Once the allowance is used up, a person can carry on with the same practitioner as a private client through Self-Pay, paying by card ahead of each session.

Unmind's EAP services cover a 24/7 helpline, financial and legal support, and support for managers. They depend on the agreement too, and staff who are unsure whether they have them are told to check with their employer. None of this puts a number on an agreement, but it gives a buyer the questions to take into the call: which parts are included, how many sessions each person has in a year, and who decides when someone needs more.

Staff can keep an eye on their own wellbeing with a Wellbeing Tracker covering happiness, calmness, sleep, coping, physical health, fulfilment and connection. What a TriageFit seat gives the person who holds it

The person holding a seat starts with an intake about their goals, the training they have done before, any injuries and the equipment within reach, and a programme follows in coach-designed phases of four to six weeks. Its exercises come from a library of 382, picked to suit what they told us, with video for the main lifts. Their calorie target is matched to their metabolism, and the macros behind it are recalculated after each check-in.

The check-in comes round once a week on a day they pick, and what they logged during the week is already in it when they open it. Sending it brings a coaching message from TriageFit within seconds, and the week that follows is planned from what the check-in shows. A real coach reads it as well. On any other day the AI coach can shorten a session, move it or swap an exercise, and nothing changes until the person agrees.

A logistics firm in Wexford

A logistics firm in Wexford has had Unmind in place for a couple of years, across its drivers, its warehouse staff and its office team. In staff one-to-ones the same wish keeps coming up: people want help getting fitter, and several have tried gym plans on their own and let them drop. The firm keeps its Unmind agreement as it is and buys 25 seats for the people who put their names forward, having said in its own announcement that taking one is optional. They cost €450 each for the year, €11,250 in all with VAT included.

A warehouse lead on early shifts starts the intake on a break and finishes it at home that evening. Their programme has three sessions a week, each sized to the time they said they have after a shift. A driver who spends a few days at a time on the ferry routes out of Rosslare asks the AI coach for a travel programme before a trip, and confirms it. When the renewal email comes round, the people team opens the report to see how many joined, finished the intake and stayed active, all of it as group figures.

What the seats cost

Seats are sold by the year, and the size of the pack sets the price: €500 a seat for 10 to 24 seats, €450 a seat for 25 to 49 seats, €415 a seat for 50 to 99 seats and €375 for 100 or more, with VAT included. One price applies to every seat in a pack, which means a pack sitting just below a band edge costs more in total than one just above it. The smallest pack is 10 seats, which comes to €5,000 for the year.

Checkout takes a card, or SEPA direct debit when the pack is billed in euro. Packs can be bought in sterling or US dollars too, paid by card. Seats added partway through the year are charged pro rata for the time left, and a reduction applies from the next renewal. Twelve months on, the pack renews, and about thirty days before that the billing contact is emailed the renewal date and the seat count.

How to start

Put a seat count and a currency into the calculator on the business page and it gives a price for the year. Packs of up to 50 seats are bought there, and the company's portal opens at the end of checkout, ready for invitations. A larger pack goes through the enquiry form on the same page, and the reply comes by email from a real person, with a quote and the steps for rolling it out. The terms, the data processing agreement and the security page are public, so a procurement check can start straight away.
