What a team pays for Calm, and what each person gets
Calm prices its plan for organisations of 5 to 300 people on its own website, in US dollars only, and the yearly price for each person drops as the group gets bigger. A TriageFit coaching seat gives someone on the same team a coached plan for training, food and recovery, and a company can pay for both. The company sees who holds a seat and group figures, and nothing about how anyone uses their seat.

Anyone looking up Calm Business pricing will find it on Calm's own website, where the price for each person depends on how many people the plan covers. Calm sells that plan, for organisations of 5 to 300 people, through a checkout that starts on the page, with no sales call. The calm.com/business address leads somewhere else, to Calm Health, which sells to employers, health plans and consultants through a demo request.
The price for each person, by group size
Prices are in US dollars only. The whole group pays the price of the band its size falls into, so in a team of 45, every person is charged the price for groups of 41 to 50.
| People covered | Price a person for the year |
|---|---|
| 5 to 10 | $63.78 |
| 11 to 20 | $62.84 |
| 21 to 30 | $60.71 |
| 31 to 40 | $58.66 |
| 41 to 50 | $56.95 |
| 51 to 60 | $55.29 |
| 61 to 70 | $53.94 |
| 71 to 80 | $52.63 |
| 81 to 90 | $51.85 |
| 91 to 100 | $51.08 |
| 101 to 150 | $46.44 |
| 151 to 200 | $44.06 |
| 201 to 250 | $40.53 |
| 251 to 300 | $37.13 |
Because the band sets the price for everyone, one more person can make a plan cheaper overall: a group of 100 costs $5,108.00, and a group of 101 costs $4,690.44. A company close to the top of a band should price the next band up before it buys.
Above the checkout's range, Calm's route is a demo request for organisations of more than 300, and what it offers there is customised pricing, custom integrations and launch support from its sales team.
What each place includes
Every place on the plan opens the full Calm content library, the same as an individual Calm Premium subscription. It holds daily guided meditations, Sleep Stories, Calm Kids content and soundscapes, with more added over time. Its categories are Meditation, Breathing, For Work, Music, Movement and Sleep.
The plan also covers up to five family members or friends free with each licence, and Calm runs webinars and events through the year.
Paying, renewing and changing the numbers
Calm takes one up-front payment for the year, with no invoicing, purchase orders or cheques. It can be paid by an ACH bank transfer or most major credit and debit cards. There is no monthly billing and no billing by usage.
A Calm plan renews automatically each year unless auto-renewal is switched off in the Calm Partner Portal. Calm sets a renewal date exactly one year from the purchase, however late people redeem their places. Cancelling works through a Cancel plan button in the portal, used before the next bill date, with access continuing to the end of the year already paid.
A group can grow, with more people added from the portal at any time, at a pro-rated price. Making it smaller works differently: there is no reduction in the number of people covered until the subscription period ends, and no refund partway through the year. For leavers, the rule is that a removed person keeps access until the end of that calendar month.
Some staff may already pay for Calm themselves, and there is no way to merge existing personal subscriptions into the group account.
Running the plan from the portal
Calm sets up the buyer as the main administrator, who can add more administrators. Day-to-day running happens in the Calm Partner Portal, a self-serve place to manage the plan and see analytics.
Staff join through a unique link that each person uses to activate their access. For the rollout itself, Calm provides ready-to-use email templates for announcing the plan, and self-paced resources such as launch guides.
The portal's analytics cover sign-up rate, engagement rate and the type of content listened to most, and Calm shows aggregate data once 10 or more team members have redeemed their benefit.
Where a coaching seat fits beside Calm
Calm's plan hands everyone on it the same library to use as they like. A TriageFit coaching seat works the other way round, starting from one person and building a plan for how they train, eat and recover. A seat is a whole TriageFit membership that the company pays for, and one person holds it at a time.
The person in the seat begins with a thirty-minute intake that can be saved and finished later. Their training is set out in coach-designed phases of four to six weeks, using exercises chosen for the equipment they can reach, their level and any injury they mention, so it suits a full gym as well as a small space at home. The main lifts come with video. Food targets come from the same answers and are revised each week.
The weekly check-in opens mostly filled in from what they logged, so sending it takes a few minutes. TriageFit answers within seconds with a coaching message, and a real coach reads the check-in as well. The following week is then reshaped around what it shows. The AI coach is there at any hour between check-ins, and it can propose a shorter session, a different day or a swapped exercise, with nothing changing until the person confirms.
What the company sees is a list of who holds a seat and one printable report of group figures: how many people joined, finished the intake and were active in the past month. A figure covering fewer than five people is left out, people who only look after billing cannot open the report, and no one at the company sees what any one person logs.
An agency in Waterford
Picture a digital agency in Waterford with about 45 staff, two years into a Calm plan. Before the renewal, the office manager opens the portal's analytics and sees that sleep content is what people listen to most. The same month, a staff survey turns up requests for help with fitness, so the agency renews Calm and buys a pack of 10 coaching seats on the business page. When it tells staff about the seats, it says in its own words that taking one is optional and that all it will see is who holds a seat and figures for the group.
One of the account managers takes a seat. They use the gym next to the office at lunchtime, three days a week, and have always made up the sessions as they went. They fill in the intake one evening, and because it asks how long a session can run, the programme it produces fits inside their lunch break. In the second week a client deadline takes over, so they ask the AI coach to shorten Thursday's session and confirm the trimmed version it proposes. When the agency opens its report a few months later, it sees how many people joined, finished the intake and were active in the past month, and nothing the account manager logged.
What the seats cost
A year of coaching costs €500 a seat for 10 to 24 seats, €450 a seat for 25 to 49 seats, €415 a seat for 50 to 99 seats and €375 for 100 or more, with VAT included. Here too, one band price covers the whole pack, so a pack just over a band edge can cost less than one just under it. The calculator will price both. The smallest pack, 10 seats, comes to €5,000 for the year.
A pack can also be billed in sterling, at £450 a seat for 10 to 24 seats, £405 a seat for 25 to 49 seats, £375 a seat for 50 to 99 seats and £340 for 100 or more. In US dollars, the currency Calm charges in, the price of a seat sits between $415 and $550, and VAT is included in every currency.
A pack bought online is paid for the year at checkout, by card, or by SEPA direct debit when it is billed in euro. Seats added during the year are charged pro rata for what is left of it. A pack renews for another year unless it is cancelled by email from the billing address before the renewal date, and a reminder with the date and the number of seats goes out about 30 days ahead.
How to start
Open the business page, enter the number of seats and pick a currency, and the calculator gives the price for the year. Up to 50 seats can be bought there and then, and once checkout completes, the organisation portal is open. A bigger team fills in the enquiry form there instead, and a real person answers by email with a quote. The business terms and the data processing agreement are public, so whoever signs off on the purchase can read them first.

Questions people ask
- How much does Calm cost for a business?
- Calm prices its plan for organisations of 5 to 300 people by the person for a year, and the band a group's size falls into sets the price for everyone in it. The smallest plan comes to $318.90 a year for 5 people, or $63.78 a person, in US dollars. Bigger groups pay less a person, down to $37.13 each in the top band of 251 to 300 people.
- Can a company pay for Calm by invoice or in euro?
- Calm's prices are in US dollars only, and it takes one up-front payment for the year, with no invoicing, purchase orders or cheques. It accepts an ACH bank transfer or most major credit and debit cards, and afterwards there is a PDF invoice to download from the billing history. TriageFit coaching seats can be priced and paid in euro, sterling or US dollars, by card, and a pack billed in euro can also be paid by SEPA direct debit.
- Can you reduce the number of people on a Calm plan?
- Calm allows no reduction in the number of people covered until the subscription period ends. A smaller plan for the next year needs a request to Calm's support team within two weeks of the renewal date, and taking people off the eligibility list does not lower the number billed at renewal. A TriageFit pack can be made smaller from the Billing page of the organisation portal, down to 10 seats and no fewer than are in use or held by open invitations. The smaller pack applies from the following year, with no credit for the current one, and a seat freed by someone leaving can be offered to someone else straight away.
- Does a coaching seat overlap with Calm?
- The two do different jobs. Each place on Calm's plan opens the full Calm content library, the same as an individual Calm Premium subscription. People choose for themselves what to use across Meditation, Breathing, For Work, Music, Movement and Sleep. A coaching seat builds a programme and food targets around one person, changes them each week from their check-in, and has a real coach read that check-in. The same person can hold both, paid for by the same company.
