Referring sports therapy clients into coached training
TriageFit gives sports therapists a referral route for clients who are ready to train, with a programme built around their injury, a weekly check-in a real coach reads and 10% off every payment through your link. If a client chooses to share, you can follow their progress from your portal. The partnership costs you nothing, and where the rules you practise under allow a referral commission, you can earn one.

A client who is ready to train again often leaves their last appointment with a gym, a club and a date in mind, and nobody to plan the weeks in between. A sports therapist referral to TriageFit gives that client a coached programme built around the injury they describe in their intake, with a weekly check-in, an AI coach at any hour and, if they choose to share it, a view of their progress for you.
What your client gets
The client joins through your partner link as a patient of your practice and starts with an intake of about thirty minutes, which they can save and come back to. It asks about their goals, their training so far, the equipment they can use and how their week runs, and a body map records where it hurts, on which side and how badly. The injury shapes the programme from the first session and the exercises that aggravate it are left out.
The training runs in coach-designed phases of four to six weeks, with the effort each session asks for following how they are recovering, and progressive overload tracking keeps the record of what they lifted. Each session can open with a short mobility circuit matched to what it trains, and easy-pace cardio is planned around the lifting on the days they have.
Their sport, logged beside the programme
A client with a club or a race calendar trains outside the programme as well. A run, a swim or a session with their club can be logged as an extra session, with its duration and how hard it felt, and it counts in their recovery score, so a weekend of fixtures shows in how recovered they are. The AI coach can see the last two weeks of it. When a heavy week leaves them flat, it can take the intensity out of a session or give them a recovery week, each as a proposal they confirm before anything moves.
Check-ins, and the days between them
The weekly check-in takes a few minutes on the day the client picks, with whatever they logged already filled in. A coaching message about the week arrives within seconds, and a real coach reads the same check-in. A plain reminder goes out when it comes due, and a week without one brings a warmer nudge to catch up.
Between check-ins the AI coach answers at any hour. It can shorten a session, move it to another day or swap an exercise for the equipment in front of them. A new pain gets a swap that takes the load off the area for that session, and a plain account of what would change the picture: a pain that has not settled in a week or two, or one that is getting worse, means seeing a physiotherapist, directly or through their GP. Coaches review the form-check videos clients send and answer questions in the group in the open, and group challenges run through the year.
A client between fixtures
Say you have treated a club footballer for an ankle sprain and judge them ready to train. They join through your link, mark the ankle on the body map, and get a first programme with the movements that aggravate it left out, three gym days a week alongside two club sessions. They log the club sessions as extras. After a week with a match and both club sessions, their recovery score has counted the club work, and they rate their recovery low at the check-in. They ask the AI coach to ease Monday's session, and it proposes a lighter one for them to confirm. A real coach reads that check-in, and because the client shares with your practice, you can see the programme week they have reached and their last two weeks of energy, stress and sleep.
What you see when a client shares
Sharing is the client's choice, made at checkout or later in settings, and it opens once we have verified your practice. When a client shares, whoever holds a clinician seat at your practice sees their progress summary, including their programme week, last check-in, one figure for how closely they are keeping to the plan, their health scores and which way they are moving, and the energy, stress and sleep from their last two weeks of check-ins. A client who stops using TriageFit for a while is marked as disengaged, and every read is logged with who read what and when.
The summary leaves out the journal, the messages with their coach and the day-to-day training and food logs. Following patients who share covers what that view does for a client who drifts.
What it costs, and what you can earn
Joining costs your practice nothing, and your clinician seats come with it. A client pays for their own membership at €50 every 4 weeks or €500 a year, and your link takes 10% off every payment for as long as their membership runs.
Whether you may take a commission on a referral is set by the rules you practise under, and only you can say whether they allow it. If they do, you can switch on 5% of what each client you refer pays. On the four-weekly plan that is €2.25 a payment and €29.25 over a year, and a client on the annual plan earns you €22.50 a year. It stays off until you switch it on, switching it on records your confirmation that it is permitted and that you will make any disclosure your rules require, and the client pays the same either way. Earning from referrals covers holds and payouts.
Registering your practice
Registering takes a few minutes, and your partner link, your portal and a printable one-pager with the link and its QR code are ready the moment you submit. We check every registration by hand before sharing opens. The clinic partnership page has the rest, and how the partnership works follows it from registration to a client's first check-in.
Questions people ask
- Can a sports therapist register as a clinic partner?
- The partnership is for healthcare providers, and a sports therapy practice registers through the same form as any clinic. Your partner link works as soon as you submit. We read every registration ourselves, may ask for evidence that your practice is a healthcare provider, and then verify it or decline it. No client is asked about sharing until we have verified the practice.
- Does a client's club training count?
- A client can log a run, a swim or a club session as an extra session, with how long it took and how hard it felt. It counts in their recovery score, and the AI coach can see the last two weeks of it. The adherence figure you see measures the programme's own sessions, so extra training never stands in for a missed one.
- When should a client start with TriageFit?
- When you judge that they are ready to train. The intake records the injury and the programme is built around it from the first session, with the aggravating exercises left out. The judgement of when a client is ready to train, and when they are ready for their sport, stays with you.
- What happens if a client stops sharing?
- They come off your list and out of the cohort report straight away. Stopping does not erase what a practitioner has already read. The client keeps the full service and the discount, and can choose to share again later from their settings.
