Earning referral income from your gym through TriageFit

TriageFit pays gym owners referral income through its affiliate programme: 10% of every payment from each person who joins through your link, for as long as they stay subscribed. The people you refer get a coached programme built around the equipment they train with, and your trainers can apply through your invite link and earn alongside you.

Every gym has members who train on their own, some from a plan they found online and some from no plan at all. The TriageFit affiliate programme gives a gym owner referral income from pointing those members at coaching that fits the way they already train: you earn a share of every payment each of them makes, for as long as they stay subscribed, and the programme they get is built around the equipment they use.

What you earn from each member you refer

The commission is a flat 10% of every payment a referred member makes, worked out on what they actually paid, with nothing taken off for tax or fees. On the four-weekly plan that is €5 a payment across 13 payments a year, or €65 a year from each member who stays. A member on the annual plan earns you €50 every time their year renews. The rate is the same for a large gym as for a small studio, since there are no tiers, and a payment that is refunded or charged back takes its commission with it.

Credit goes to the last affiliate link a person clicked in the 60 days before joining. From their first payment they stay credited to you whichever plan they move to, and the commission follows their TriageFit subscription rather than their gym membership, so a member who moves away still earns you commission while they keep paying.

Nothing needs invoicing. Each commission is held for 30 days to cover refunds and then goes out automatically in the monthly payout through Stripe Connect, once your balance has reached €20. Each billing currency is paid out separately, and the tax on what you earn is yours to account for.

What the people you refer get

A member who joins through your link starts with an intake of about thirty minutes covering their goals, the training they have done before, their injuries and the equipment they can use. Their programme is built from those answers, in phases our coaches designed, with each slot filled from a library of 382 exercises matched to their equipment and working around their injuries, and the effort each session asks for adjusts to how they are recovering.

Once a week they check in, a coaching message about the week arrives within seconds, the next week is rebuilt around what they reported, and a real coach reads the same check-in. Food targets, recovery tracking and an AI coach that can move a session or swap an exercise come in the same plan.

They pay the listed price of €50 / 4 weeks or €500/year, with VAT included, because your link carries no discount. Your commission is paid by TriageFit from what it receives, so nothing is added to the member's bill.

Who to point it at

It suits the members who train without a trainer: the ones working through a plan from a video, the ones who come in three evenings a week and repeat the same session, and the ones who used to book a personal trainer and stopped. Members already training with one of your own trainers are best left where they are. Offered to the members who train alone, it sits beside the personal training you sell rather than competing with it.

Promoting it inside the gym

The link toolkit on your dashboard has a QR code at print size, which puts the offer on a reception desk, a changing-room wall or the flyer in a new member's welcome pack. It also has ready-made copy, a short post, a longer version for a newsletter and a bio line, to rework in the voice your members know.

Tag each link you share by where it goes, such as the newsletter or the gym's Instagram, and the Campaigns panel splits your clicks by tag. The panel called "Where people stop" then shows how many of those clicks became signups and how many of the signups kept paying, which tells you which placement is worth the wall space.

The rules that matter for a gym

The affiliate terms name gyms and studios directly: if you promote TriageFit to your own members, tell them plainly that you earn a commission when they join. Put a line saying so on the poster and in the newsletter.

The terms also rule out any incentive to sign up, so a free week at the gym or money off a membership for joining through your link is not allowed. They rule out spam, so the link goes out through channels your members have agreed to hear from you on, never a bought list or messages nobody asked for. Bidding on the TriageFit name in paid search is out, so is referring yourself or an account you control, and anything you say about TriageFit has to match what the site says.

Your trainers can earn as well

Your dashboard has an invite link for other affiliates. A trainer on your staff who applies through it gets a referral link and a commission of their own, and you earn 5% on the member referrals each of them makes, paid on top of their commission rather than taken out of it. It gives a trainer with a full diary somewhere to send the people they cannot fit in, which referring clients when you are fully booked covers from the trainer's side, and the affiliate programme for personal trainers sets out their half of the deal.

Companies and clinics near the gym

A gym sits in a local network of businesses: the firms whose staff train with you, the physio who treats your members, the sports therapist who rents a room. Introducing one of them earns a different kind of commission. A company that buys seats for its staff pays you 5% of what it pays in its first contract year. For a clinic you earn 5% of anything it pays in its first year, plus 5% of every payment from the patients it sends, for as long as they keep paying. The introduction is credited through your link, or through a claim you register on your dashboard, which holds for 120 days.

The one organisation that earns you nothing is one you administer on TriageFit yourself, such as a seat pack you run for your own staff. The override on your trainers' referrals never applies to company or clinic deals either. Earning from introducing companies and clinics explains both streams in full, and the company page and the clinic page show what each is buying.

How to apply

The application is a short form on the affiliate page: a name and an email address, and if you like, where you will promote TriageFit and how many people you reach, which for a gym might be the size of your mailing list. There is no minimum and no TriageFit account needed. You need to be 18 or over, able to enter a contract and based somewhere Stripe Connect can pay you. Your code works from the moment you submit, a sign-in link to your dashboard follows by email, and the QR code, the ready-made copy and the invite link for your trainers are waiting there.

Questions people ask

Do members pay more if they join through the gym's link?
No. Your link carries no discount and no surcharge, so a member pays the listed price of €50 / 4 weeks or €500/year, with VAT included. Your commission is paid by TriageFit from what it receives, and nothing is added to the member's bill to cover it.
Can I give members a free week for joining through the link?
No. The affiliate terms rule out any incentive to sign up, which covers a free week, money off a membership or a prize draw for the people who join. You can tell members what TriageFit does, what it costs and that you earn a commission when they join, and leave the decision to them.
What happens to the commission if a member leaves the gym?
It carries on. The commission follows their TriageFit subscription rather than their gym membership, so you keep earning 10% of each payment for as long as they stay subscribed, whether they still train with you or not. It stops when they cancel, and a refunded payment takes its commission back.
Can my trainers have links of their own?
Yes. Once you have applied, send your trainers the invite link from your dashboard. Each trainer who applies through it gets their own link and earns their own commission on the members they refer, and you earn 5% on those referrals on top, without reducing what the trainer is paid.
