Online coaching for women, with cycle-aware training if you want it
TriageFit is an online personal trainer for women who lift or want to start, built from your own intake rather than a programme written for someone else. Cycle-aware coaching is there if you want it, your nutrition targets adjust each week, a coach reviews your form on video and a real coach reads your weekly check-in. It costs €50 / 4 weeks.

A lot of fitness coaching for women is sold as something lighter than the real thing: smaller weights, endless circuits and a food plan built around eating less. The women searching for an online personal trainer are usually after the opposite, a proper strength programme that suits their body and their week, food targets that support it and someone paying attention to how it is going. TriageFit is built to coach exactly that.
A programme from your own intake
Your intake takes about thirty minutes and can be saved partway. It asks about your goals, your training history, injuries, how your week runs and the equipment you have, along with a short health screen, and a few of its answers mean your programme waits until your doctor is happy for you to train and you have said so in the app. The programme is chosen from shapes our coaches wrote and filled from a library of 382 exercises to suit your equipment, your level and anything you told us about, then run in coach-designed phases of four to six weeks that keep cycling for as long as you train.
Real strength training
The programme is built around lifting that progresses, with the split, the rep ranges, the tempo and the rest set for each phase. Progressive overload tracking records every set you log, so the weights going up is something you can see rather than something you hope is happening. Every exercise has coaching cues, the main lifts have video, and a coach reviews the form checks you send.
Cycle-aware coaching, if you want it
If you track your cycle, the coaching can take it into account, and the AI coach can ease the intensity in a week when your cycle makes training feel harder. It is optional, and the programme runs just as well for members who never record it. If you are pregnant or planning to be, the AI coach refers you to Triage Method, our coaching company, and signposts your GP or midwife. For anything hormonal or medical, your GP remains the person to see.
Food targets that support training
Your calorie target is matched to your metabolism, your macros adjust from week to week as your logged food and weight show a trend, and protein is spread across your day. Whether your goal is to lose fat, build or hold steady, the targets follow your results. Meals you eat often can be saved with their macros, and the app notices a long stretch of dieting and offers a diet break.
Recovery and the rest of life
The effort each session asks for adjusts to how you are recovering. Sleep regularity and quality are tracked beside your training, stress check-ins sit in the same place, and if you wear a device you can upload an export from Apple, Garmin, Whoop, Oura or Fitbit. Before each session a short warm-up circuit is matched to what the session trains, and a separate mobility programme works on any stiff ranges.
Habits and the thinking side
Training well for years depends on more than the programme. The habit system ties new habits to moments already in your day with if-then plans, journaling and reflection sit beside it, and 48 lessons from our course material cover the thinking side of training. Quarterly and annual reviews look back over longer stretches than a single week, which is where steady progress becomes obvious.
The weekly check-in
On a day that suits you, the check-in takes a few minutes, with the sessions you logged already in it. You add how the week felt, your habits and food, an optional weigh-in, a win and five quick ratings for energy, recovery, motivation, sleep and stress. The coaching message about your week lands within seconds, your next week is rebuilt from it, and a real coach reads the same check-in.
Help between check-ins
The AI coach answers at any hour. It can swap an exercise when the rack is taken, shorten a session to fit a busy day or move one to another day, and each change is a proposal you confirm. Coaches answer questions in the group, in the open, and group challenges run through the year.
Two months in
Say you have done classes for years and want to learn to lift. Your intake notes a wrist that dislikes front squats and two free mornings plus one evening. The first phase teaches the main lifts with cues and videos, and in week three a coach watches your deadlift video and fixes where the bar drifts. You flag a rough week in your cycle and the AI coach proposes an easier session, which you confirm. By the second phase your log shows every main lift above where you started.
What it costs
One plan covers everything: €50 every 4 weeks or €500 a year, VAT included, and you can pause or cancel from inside the app. The best workout apps for women sets TriageFit beside the alternatives.
Starting
Choose a plan on the pricing page, set up your account and pay, and the intake opens next. A personal trainer for women over 40 covers coaching through the years around menopause, and online fitness coaching shows a full week.
Questions people ask
- Do I have to track my cycle?
- No. Cycle-aware coaching is there if you want it, and the programme runs the same way for members who never record their cycle. If you do track it, the AI coach can ease the intensity in a week when your cycle makes training harder, once you confirm.
- Will lifting weights make me bulky?
- Your programme and your food targets are set from your own goal, whether that is strength, shape or fat loss. Body-composition trends and a progress photo timeline show how your body is actually changing, so you can see the effect of the training for yourself.
- Can I train at home?
- Yes. Tell the intake what equipment you have and the programme is filled with exercises you can do with it. If you join a gym later, ask the AI coach for an equipment change and confirm the updated programme.
