Online personal training from TriageFit, an Irish company

TriageFit is online personal training from TriageMethod Ltd, a company registered in Ireland. It builds your programme from one intake and rebuilds it every week from your check-in, which a real coach reads too. It costs €50 / 4 weeks or €500/year, charged in euro with VAT included.

If you are looking for an online personal trainer in Ireland, TriageFit is run by TriageMethod Ltd, a company registered here, and priced in euro with the VAT already in the price. It builds your programme from one intake, answers at any hour, rebuilds your plan from your check-in every week and writes you a coaching message about it, and a real coach reads the check-in and reviews your form videos as well, wherever in the country you train.

An Irish company and a euro price

The price is €50 every 4 weeks, or €500 paid once for the year, which saves €150 against paying block by block. It is charged in euro, so an Irish card sees no conversion, and the VAT is included in what you see. There is one plan and no tiers.

Where the coaching comes from

TriageFit grew out of Triage Method, an Irish coaching business, and the method it coaches by comes from there. The coach-designed phases your programme runs in and the 48 lessons in the app come from Triage Method's own coaching and course material.

TriageFit does the coaching you meet day to day. It builds your programme and your nutrition targets from the intake, adjusts them as your weeks change, answers questions at any hour and writes you a coaching message within seconds of each check-in. A real coach works alongside it, reading your check-ins, reviewing the form-check videos you send and answering questions in the group, where the answers are given in the open for every member.

A week of training, wherever you are

The intake takes about thirty minutes and covers your goals, your training so far, injuries, the way your week runs and the equipment you have. Your programme is built from it in coach-designed phases, and if the health screen raises something serious, it waits for your GP to say you can go ahead, which you confirm in the app.

You train from the app, where each of the 382 exercises in the library has coaching cues and the main lifts have video. You log as you go, and the AI coach handles the changes a week throws up: a session trimmed for time, a session moved to another day, a swap for equipment that is not there. Every change the AI coach makes is a proposal you confirm first.

It works the same in a city gym, a hotel on a work trip or a spare room in Mayo. If your setup changes, tell the AI coach and it proposes a programme to match.

The weekly check-in

Your check-in comes round once a week, on the day you pick, and takes a few minutes: how the sessions went, what else the week held, your food and habits, a weigh-in if you want one and a win worth recording, alongside quick scores for energy, recovery, motivation, sleep and stress. Anything you logged through the week is already filled in. A coaching message about your week arrives within seconds of sending it, a real coach reads the check-in as well, and the week after is rebuilt around it.

Food and recovery in the same price

The membership covers more than the training. Your calorie target is set from your metabolism and your macros move each week with your check-in, with protein spread across the day. Sleep, heart-rate variability and resting heart rate are tracked alongside your sessions, and if you wear an Apple Watch, a Garmin, a Whoop, an Oura ring or a Fitbit, its data can be imported. The AI coach takes food questions as readily as training ones, and every change it suggests is yours to confirm.

How it compares with a trainer in your gym

A personal trainer in an Irish gym is usually booked by the session. What a personal trainer costs in Ireland sets out the going rates around the country, and personal trainers in Dublin covers the capital.

A session and a membership buy different things. A session buys an hour with someone beside you, and a TriageFit membership covers every week of the block, including the programme, the check-in a coach reads, the form checks you send, the group and the AI coach, which comes to about €12.50 a week on the block plan, or about €42 a month if you pay for the year.

Pausing, cancelling and your data

You can pause or cancel from inside the app without writing to anyone. A pause holds your place and your training history, which suits a summer away or a month when work takes everything, and a cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.

TriageMethod Ltd is the data controller for your data, under Irish and EU data protection law. You can export everything you have logged or delete your account from Settings, and if you would rather write to a person, info@triagemethod.com reaches us.

Who it suits

It suits people who want a plan built around their own week, rebuilt every week from how it went, and who would rather pay one price for every week than book sessions one at a time. It also suits anyone outside the reach of a good gym trainer, because the coaching arrives through the app wherever you live.

How to start

Choose the block or the annual plan on the pricing page, create your account, pay in euro, and the intake opens. The full walk-through of a week is on online fitness coaching, and online personal training covers the trainer's side of the work in more detail.

Questions people ask

Is TriageFit an Irish company?
Yes. TriageFit is run by TriageMethod Ltd, a company registered in Ireland, and Triage Method, the coaching business behind it, is at triagemethod.com. We are the data controller for member data, and you can write to info@triagemethod.com about anything.
Is VAT included in the price?
Yes. The price you see, €50 / 4 weeks or €500/year, includes VAT, and it is charged in euro. There is one plan with no tiers, so the coaching, the form checks, the group and the AI coach all come with it.
Can I use an online personal trainer if I live outside Dublin?
Yes. Everything happens in the app, so it works the same in Galway, Kerry or Donegal as it does in Dublin. Your programme is built from the equipment you have, you send form checks as videos, and a real coach reads your check-in wherever you are.
How does this compare with a personal trainer in my gym?
A trainer in your gym gives you an hour beside you, booked by the session. TriageFit gives you a programme for every day you train, a weekly check-in a coach reads, form checks by video and an AI coach at any hour, all for one price every four weeks.
